My work is hand drawn using marker pens, colour pencils and pen or the humble graphite pencil. I am obsessed with line and can happily bore people for hours chatting about the 'quality of the line'.
My process of working might seem a bit back to front to some, as I prefer to dive straight in with the markers, building the colour in layers. I then add detail and line with colour pencils and finish with the outline in pen or pencil. Working in this way enables me to create drawings that are a bit wonky, the colour and line often mis-registered. I like to use Photoshop to develop ideas and play around with composition.
